Your private 1 day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls begins at 8:00 AM. As we journey towards our destination, we’ll pass through numerous Berber villages, offering glimpses into local life and culture. Upon arrival, you’ll have ample free time to marvel at the magnificent scenery of Ouzoud Waterfalls.
Before descending the stairs to reach the waterfalls, you’ll be treated to your first breathtaking view. There’s another route to the base of the waterfalls, offering more fun but a slightly more challenging trek. If you’re up for it and have sturdy boots, I highly recommend taking this route for incredible views and more monkey encounters. This path not only provides the best vantage points of the waterfalls and great swimming opportunities but also serves as a perfect spot to rest.
For those who prefer not to walk, small boats are available for tours. While not strictly necessary for transportation, these boats add to the charm of the experience. The area is also home to the famous macaque monkeys, known for their performances in Marrakech main square. Witnessing them roam freely in their natural habitat is a delightful experience.
There are several lunchtime restaurants (not included) offering spectacular views. We’ll return to Marrakech around 6:00-7:00 PM, marking the end of our services.

The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours each way. Because you are traveling on a private day trip with Culture Morocco Tours, you will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and can ask your driver to stop for coffee, restroom breaks, or photos whenever you like.
While you don't need professional hiking boots, we highly recommend wearing comfortable, sturdy sneakers with good grip. The steps leading down to the base of the waterfalls can sometimes be wet, uneven, and slippery.
Yes, the wild Barbary macaques are very accustomed to visitors and are generally quite friendly. However, they are still wild animals, so we recommend keeping a respectful distance, avoiding petting them, and keeping a close eye on your snacks and loose belongings!
