Morning: Marrakech – Ouzoud
Your driver picks you up around 8:00 AM. First, we head north-east through olive groves and Berber villages, about 2.5–3 hours. Then, we reach the Ouzoud Waterfalls, in the foothills of the Middle Atlas.
Midday: The Waterfalls
From the top, you see the water drop about 110 m in several tiers. Then, you walk down a stepped path to the pools. There, you can take a small boat ride to the foot of the falls. In addition, Barbary macaques live in the olive trees by the path; watch them, but do not feed them.
For lunch, several terrace restaurants face the falls.
Afternoon: Return to Marrakech
After lunch, you climb back up the other side of the gorge. Finally, we drive back and reach Marrakech around 6:00–7:00 PM.
