Morning: Marrakech – Argan Co-operative – Essaouira
Your driver picks you up at your riad or hotel around 8:00 AM. First, we head west across the plains, where argan trees line the road. On the way, we stop at a women’s co-operative to see how argan oil is made. You may also see goats in the trees; however, herders often place them there for photos.
Midday: Free Time in Essaouira
We reach Essaouira in the late morning. Then, you have about five hours to explore. For example, you can walk the Skala ramparts, browse the thuya-wood workshops and visit the fishing port.
For lunch, the grill stalls by the port serve fish from the morning catch. Agree the price before it goes on the fire. If you want a guided walk, we can book a local guide for you.
Afternoon: Return to Marrakech
In the late afternoon, we drive back to Marrakech. As a result, you reach your accommodation around 7:00 PM.
