Morning: Marrakech – Ourika Valley
Your driver picks you up around 9:00 AM. First, we cross the plain to the foot of the High Atlas, just over an hour away. Then, we follow the Ourika river past orchards and mud-brick villages. On the way, you share mint tea in a Berber home. If it is Monday, we also stop at the weekly souk of Tnine Ourika.
Midday: Setti Fatma Waterfalls
Next, we reach Setti Fatma, at the end of the road. From there, a rocky path climbs to the first waterfall in about 30 minutes. For the higher falls, it is best to go with a local mountain guide. Afterwards, you have lunch at a riverside restaurant.
Afternoon: Argan Co-operative and Return
On the way back, we stop at a women’s co-operative that makes argan oil. Finally, you reach Marrakech around 5:00 PM.
