4 Days Tour from Fes to Merzouga Desert

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Todra Gorges

From here, we’ll veer right to pass through the renowned town of Imilchil before reaching Todra Gorges by evening, marking the start of your memorable desert adventure.

Day 2: Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Rissani – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

Today, on our 4 days Fes to Merzouga desert tour, we go on the journey to Merzouga, passing through Berber villages scattered along the way. Our route takes us through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga, where our desert experience begins. Amidst our travels, we’ll pause for lunch in Khamlia, an ancient village steeped in tradition. Afterward, our camel companions join us for a trek to a Berber camp nestled amidst the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, stretching 20 km long and 5 km wide, acclaimed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. As the sun sets behind the dunes, indulge in a nomadic Berber dinner under the desert sky. Gather around the fire afterward to immerse yourself in the enchanting rhythms of traditional Berber drums, creating memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Day 3: Tour Around Merzouga Desert

Wake up early in the morning on your 4 days tour from Fes to Merzouga desert to witness the mesmerizing sunrise atop the dunes in the Sahara desert, followed by a delightful breakfast. Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to visit the lake of Merzouga and witness its bird population, including the majestic Flamingos.

In the afternoon, we’ll drive you back to the hotel, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s enriching experiences amidst the desert serene beauty.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

After breakfast, we’ll commence our journey back to Fes city on our 4 days desert tour from Fes, tracing our route through the picturesque Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains. Along the way, we’ll meander through the cedar forests of Azrou, pausing to admire the stunning vistas and observe the playful Barbary Monkeys.
