Nestled at the edge of the Middle Atlas mountain range, Sefrou lies just 30 kilometers (19 mi) southeast of Fes. As we explore this enchanting town, we’ll marvel at the scenic beauty of the river Oued Aggai, which meanders through the city, and behold the stunning Cascades waterfall, located about 1.5 kilometers (0.93 mi) west of Sefrou. The Wadi Aggai, a vital water source for the region, also adds to the area’s natural allure.

Sefrou is incredibly close! The drive takes only about 40 minutes each way. This makes it the absolute perfect day trip if you want to escape the busy medina of Fes but don't want to spend hours in a car.

Not at all. The walk to the Cascades of Sefrou is quite short and very accessible. It is a lovely, shaded walk along the river, making it a great option for families or travelers looking for a relaxing stroll rather than a strenuous hike.
