Day 1: Fes \u2013 Ifrane \u2013 Azrou \u2013 Ziz Valley \u2013 Merzouga Desert<\/strong><\/h4>

Your driver will pick you up from your riad at 8:00 am to begin your 2 days Sahara Desert tour from Fes<\/strong>. We will depart Fes and travel over the Middle Atlas mountains, passing through the cedar forests of Ifrane (known as the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, and Midelt. Continuing through the Ziz Valley and its gorges, we head towards the Sahara. You’ll be amazed by the diversity of the landscapes, from the enchanting desert to the picturesque green valleys and forests.<\/p>

We will reach Merzouga, a small, charming village considered one of the gateways to the Sahara, before sunset. After enjoying a refreshing mint tea, your guide and camels will be ready to take you across the sandy dunes of the Erg Chebbi to a Berber camp. Erg Chebbi, which stretches 20 km long and 5 km wide, boasts the highest sand dunes in North Africa and offers a unique and diverse environment.<\/p>

The camel trek to the camp takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we will set up in well-equipped Berber tents for a magical night in the desert. As the sun sets behind the dunes, you’ll enjoy a traditional nomadic Berber dinner.
